Valerie Loureda returns to the Bellator cage next weekend.
Bellator officials announced that Loureda will face Tara Graff on Aug. 7 at Bellator 243. The event takes place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. and will be headlined by a lightweight rematch between Michael Chandler and Benson Henderson.
The matchup as originally scheduled to take place in January at Bellator 238 before Loureda was forced to withdraw with an injury.
Loureda was signed to the promotion and made her pro debut in February. “Master” finished Colby Fletcher via first-round TKO at Bellator 216. Four months later, the American Top Team 125er got a unanimous decision win over Larkyn Dasch at Bellator 222 in New York.
Graff makes her promotional debut after competing under the King of the Cage banner for her first two bouts. “The Tiny Terror” picked up a first-round finish of Marisol Ruelas in her pro debut in October 2018 before suffering the same fate a month later in a bout with Alibeth Milliron.
