Injuries have resulted in three new match-ups in the main card of Combate Americas 51, fight card scheduled to go down Dec. 7 in McAllen, Texas.
Headlined by a 210-pound catchweight showdown between Tito Ortiz and Alberto “El Patron” Rodriguez (formerly “Alberto Del Rio” of the WWE), Saturday’s pay-per-view show will now include Dani Barez vs. Joao Camilo, Dulce Garcia vs. Anali Lopez Hernandez, and Gaston Reyno vs. Rey Trujillo.
Joby Sanchez, Marisol Ruelas and Angel Cruz, the original opponents for Barez, Garcia and Reyno, withdrew from the card after suffering injuries in training.
The undercard has also been hit with a change, as Clarence Brown replaces injured Ismael Bonfim against Jose Flores. A trio of preliminary bouts were made official on Monday: Victor Martinez vs. Luis Luna, Elias Urbina vs. Mike Tovar, and Edmilson Freitas vs. Raymond Banda.
