Robson Gracie Jr. will face a new opponent in his mixed martial arts debut at Bellator 208.
Originally slated to meet Peter Nascimento in Long Island on Oct. 13, Renzo Gracie’s brother now faces Jamal Pottinger, Bellator officials confirmed to MMA Fighting following a report by MMAjunkie.
Both Gracie Jr. and Pottinger, competing in a 175-pound catchweight bout, are set to make their professional debuts in the preliminary portion of Bellator 208.
Another clash of MMA debutants was added to Bellator 208 undercard, with former Olympian Jennifer Chieng, who competed in boxing at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, takes on fellow 0-0 fighter Jessica Ruiz in the strawweight division.
Bellator 208 takes place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum and features Fedor Emelianenko vs. Chael Sonnen in the main event.
