Hip-hop artists dish out food instead of music
A dozen local hip-hop artists put aside thoughts of record platters last night in favor of platters of steaming fried fish, collard greens and sweet potatoes to serve nearly 100 area residents who could use a hot meal. The artists, who are featured on the hip-hop segment of Polish Radio WRKL 910AM, answered a call from radio personality CT for volunteers to collect coats for needy residents and serve food to the hungry and homeless. The idea, said Christopher “CT” Torres, was to show hip-hop’s bright side.
“A lot of time, the image people see, or the perception of the young kids, are always doing something negative to attract attention,” Torres said. “I asked them to donate their time – it’s the most important thing there is. The young people came out and showed everybody what they can do, what they’re made of.”

The sale took place after the father spent two weeks searching for the video game for the Nintendo Wii gameboard.
“So I was so relieved in that I had finally got the Holy Grail of Christmas presents pretty much just in the nick of time. I couldn’t wait to spread the jubilance to my son,” the father wrote on the eBay website.

Tony Parker, Eva Longoria Deny He Went Back Door with Model

San Antonio Spurs point guard, Tony Parker, and his bride of five months, Eva Longoria, deny that he ever went “back door” with French singer-actress-model Alexandra Paressant.
Ms. Paressant, 26, told reporters Wednesday that she had had a brief affair with Mr. Parker, 25. She also revealed that Mr. Parker likes to give the names of basketball plays to his favorite sexual activities.
“Tony is such a, how you say, jacque,” said Ms. Paressant. “When I meet him at his wedding in July, he tells me he wants to go back door on me. When I say I don’t know what that means, he offers to show me some time.”
